Our Mykonos "Outdoors Classic" tour is a land and water activity tour, offering a balance of outdoor activity, leisure time and culture,  which is geared to satisfy and stimulate both the body and mind, in the beautiful surroundings of the Mykonian nature.

This tour takes place in the pristine natural beauty area of Panormos Bay and Agios Sostis.

We start our tour with a scenic hike following an old donkey path which meanders over beautiful herb covered hills, a unique area which is known as the forest of Mykonos. It is a gentle walk, that requires a standard level of physical condition. Here hidden in the wild forest of brushwood vegetation we will discover amongst the rock roses various species of aromatic herbs, such as wild Mykonian Oregano (Throuby) and Thyme, an incredible feast to the senses, set in a wild and dramatic scenery, offering some of the most spectacular views to be found anywhere on the island.​

The trail leads us down to a hidden pristine beach, where the fine golden sand reaches down to crystal clear waters. In this beautiful and peacefull environment we allow ourselves to listen to the incredible "sound of silence", (no cars or bikes or loud music, at all !!!) only the natural sounds of the waves, the wind and the passing birds. ​

A wallk up to the top the herbal hill reveals the magnificent view of the open sea and the wild Mykonian North coastline, with it's dramatic coves and rock formations, breaking every now and then into small hidden secret sandy beaches. Feasting our eyes on the amazing play of blue and turqoise colours of the Aegean waters we are captivated by its beauty.​

After our exilarating hike, it's time to take the trail back to our base where we will be outfitted with our snorkeling gear (any one less confident may also use a PFD) and head off for our snorkeling adventure in the crystal clear Aegean sea. Our guides will give an introductory lesson to snorkeling for those who need it and then accompany the group pointing out areas of interest like the beautiful and very important posidonia sea grass meadows and various fishes (Sea Breams, Rainbow wrasses, Flounders, Dream fish(Cow Bream)and Groupers) as well as Sea Urchins and Octupus.

For those who wish to visit a traditional family Greek Orthodox chappel, the 19th century Agios Sostis twin chapel is the perfect spot to light a candle for your beloved ones and to infuse yourself in the mystical atmosphere of this renowned chappel, built in 1870 by a sailor who's merchant ship was miraculously saved from the vicious waves of a heavy storm. The story goes that after praying to Agios Sostis (Saint Saviour) his ship was tossed out of the wild sea into the sheltered Panormos Bay and the boat and its crew were saved.

Mykonos island has a rich and vibrant culture, as well as a dramatic geological past.
